3 Mysuru prisoners drink essence, die
Three inmates of Mysuru Central Prison, Madesha, Nagaraj, and Ramesh, experienced health issues after allegedly consuming essence on Christmas Eve, possibly to get intoxicated. Their condition worsened and they were transferred to KR Hospital, where they died between January 6 and 8. Officials are awaiting lab reports to confirm the cause of their illness.
