CBSE relief on three-language policy: Classes 7-9 students allowed to continue with two foreign languages- report

Students in CBSE Classes VII, VIII, and IX who chose two foreign languages will be permitted to continue this combination until Class X. This clarification addresses concerns following a recent CBSE circular mandating at least two Indian languages from Class VI onwards. The Ministry of Education emphasized this is not a policy rollback but a clarification for existing students, ensuring a smooth transition for a small group.
