Former Barrackpore MP Arjun Singh claimed a conspiracy to assassinate him and other BJP leaders using a Russian chemical spray. Singh, facing a CID probe in an alleged corruption case, alleged the West Bengal government was targeting opposition members. Trinamool dismissed his claims as baseless.
