DRI seizes 3 kg of gold hidden in air compressors at Ahmedabad airport
A team from the Ahmedabad Zonal Unit of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized 3 kg of gold worth Rs 2.3 crore at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The gold was hidden in mini air compressors, and an Indian national from Bangkok was arrested. This year, over 93 kg of smuggled gold was confiscated from Ahmedabad and Surat airports.
