EC tweak: More new voters to attend hearings before enrolment in West Bengal
New rules for voter registration are now in effect. Applicants must submit Annexure IV along with Form 6. This change aims to strengthen the enrolment process. More applicants will now face hearings to verify their details. Those who meet the criteria and clear the hearing will be added to the electoral roll.
