ED files prosecution complaint against 8, including 4 from Tamil Nadu, for aiding Chinese fraudsters
A Bengaluru PMLA court has acknowledged a prosecution complaint by the ED regarding cybercrime proceeds laundered through shell companies. Eight individuals, including four from near Chennai, have been arrested. Chinese fraudsters allegedly funneled Rs 159 crore from cyber frauds via these shell companies. Those arrested are now in judicial custody.
