Factory making ‘paneer’ from palm oil, milk powder busted in Rajkot; 800kg seized
Authorities seized 800kg of adulterated paneer made from milk powder, acetic acid, and palm oil at Gujarat Foods in Rajkot. The paneer, deemed unfit for consumption, was sold to restaurants and hotels. Police are investigating the distribution network and have informed the Food and Drugs Control Administration. Samples have been sent for testing to confirm the presence of harmful substances.
