A gangster, Nakdu Yadav, from Azamgarh managed to infiltrate the UP Home Guards under a false identity as Nandlal Yadav and served undetected for 35 years. His true identity and criminal background, including multiple charges under the Gangsters Act, were exposed in 2024 after an altercation landed him in jail, leading to his arrest.
