Gujarat family holds 'samadhi' event for 'lucky' car, gives honorable burial to their beloved hatchback
In an unusual display of affection, a farmer in Amreli, Gujarat, held a grand 'samadhi' ceremony for his beloved car. Sanjay Polra, the owner, credits the hatchback with bringing his family prosperity and social standing since its purchase in 2006. The elaborate farewell included prayers, a procession, and a feast for 1,500 villagers.
