IIT-Kanpur presents fresh plan for AQI monitoring units
IIT-Kanpur has proposed the installation of hyperlocal sensor-based air quality monitoring units in Mumbai to help the BMC mitigate air pollution. The BMC plans to install around 75 sensors in equal-sized grids of eight square kilometres. These sensors will provide real-time data for granular level intervention.
