Jharkhand's First Medical University Planned for Ranchi: Foundation Stone Expected in January
Jharkhand is set to establish its first medical university in Ranchi's Brambe area, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren expected to lay the foundation stone in January. The university will oversee medical college registration, faculty appointments, and academic governance. Initial operations will commence at the former Central University of Jharkhand campus, with existing infrastructure deemed suitable.
