Karnataka bank robbery on CM's visit: Gang of 4 storms co-op bank, walks away with Rs 4 crore valuables
Karnataka witnessed its second bank robbery in 24 hours when four armed robbers, carrying machetes and a pistol, stormed into an agricultural co-operative bank in Mangaluru. They threatened staff, looted cash and jewellery worth Rs 4 crore, and fled in a black car. CM Siddaramaiah, visiting the city at the time, demanded tightened security measures.
