Maha Kumbh Special: A peek into path of becoming Naga sadhu
During the Maha Kumbh 2025, around 12,000 ascetics will become Naga sanyasis in various akharas after a rigorous 12-year monitoring process. A significant number of new Naga sanyasis will emerge from prominent akharas like Juna, Niranjani, Mahanirvani, and Bada Udasin, following traditional rituals and penance.
