Maharashtra polls: BJP expels 40 leaders across 37 assembly constituencies
In a significant move ahead of the Maharashtra elections, the BJP took disciplinary action against 40 members for violating party rules. The party expelled these individuals, representing various constituencies, for their actions. Simultaneously, Uddhav Thackeray, leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), also dismissed five party officials, including former MLA Rupesh Mhatre, citing anti-party activities.
