Maharashtra skill department launches short-term courses in Puja vidhi and Paurohit services, in view of Simhastha Kumbh Mela
Mumbai’s Skill Development Department has launched a 21-day short-term course in Puja Vidhi and Paurohit services in Nashik ahead of the 2027 Simhastha Kumbh Mela. The program, starting December 16 at Shri Swami Akhandanand Veda Vedang Sanskrit College, offers 45 hours of training covering Vedic and Puranic rituals, chanting, sacred bathing, and other religious practices. Jointly implemented with Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, the course combines scriptural knowledge with practical experience and awards certificates based on assessments.
