Notices slapped to 39 'polluting' Thane construction sites
Thane municipal corporation has issued show cause notices to 39 construction sites for breaching dust pollution control guidelines. Out of 297 sites monitored, only 31 complied with the norms. Sites failing to adhere risk suspension of their projects. Presently, Thane's AQI fluctuates between 105 and 184, causing weather-related ailments among residents.
