Python with serious injuries treated, released into wild
A 32kg python, severely injured by a grass-cutting blade, was rescued in Udupi. Wildlife rescuer Akshay Shet and the forest department transported the snake to Samanvaya Veterinary Clinic. Veterinarians performed a 70-minute surgery to repair multiple deep wounds. After a week of recovery, the python was successfully released back into the wild.
