Rahul Gandhi leaves for Belagavi to attend Congress working committee meeting
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi traveled to Belagavi, Karnataka, to attend the Congress Working Committee meeting on December 26-27. Mahatma Gandhi visited Belagavi six times between 1916 and 1937, with the district playing a significant role in the Indian freedom movement. He chaired the 1924 Congress National Session in Belagavi and was accompanied by prominent leaders during his visits.
