Rajasthani Manganiars to play 700-year-old instrument Kamaycha at Goa music fest
The rhythms of 'Padharo Mhare Desh' will be highlighted by the Manganiar community at the Monte Music Fest in Old Goa next month. Dare Khan will play the 700-year-old Kamaycha. The Khans have preserved this rare instrument for generations. The festival will also feature other traditional instruments and dancers from Rajasthan. The Manganiars will perform on February 2nd.
