Shariful Fakir, a Bangladeshi national, allegedly broke into actor Saif Ali Khan's home in Bandra out of desperation to support his ailing mother. Saif was stabbed in the spine during a confrontation after Shariful entered his flat through an open window. The accused was arrested and the crime was reconstructed.
