Serial extortionist fakes accidents to cheat drivers, lands in Bengaluru cops' custody
Jameel Khan, a 29-year-old from Mysuru, specialised in faking road accidents to extort money from distracted or vulnerable motorists since 2017. His scam involved pretending to be hit, then claiming a family member was injured. He was apprehended after extorting Rs 1.1 lakh from a senior citizen.
