Showered with Rs 43 lakh projects, ‘6-year-old’ Ferozepur village nowhere to be found
In Ferozepur, Punjab officials allegedly created a fake village named 'New Gatti Rajo Ki' to receive Rs 43 lakh in development funds. An RTI activist discovered discrepancies in grants, revealing that the non-existent village received funds and carried out development projects, while the actual village received fewer resources. Authorities have ordered a probe into the matter.
