‘Exorcist’ cheats loss-making Bengaluru restaurateur of Rs 30 lakh, valuables
A Bengaluru restaurateur, Kashif, lost Rs 31 lakh to a fake exorcist who promised to solve his business woes. The con artist, Syed Freed Hussain, spun tales of ghosts and family curses, extracting cash, gold, and silver from Kashif over several months. Police are now searching for the absconded Hussain.
