11 candidates in Pune seek EVM verification post assembly polls; Rs 66.64 lakh paid for checks
Eleven losing candidates from Pune's recent state assembly polls have requested verification of burnt memory in the EVMs used. They have collectively paid Rs 66.64 lakh to re-evaluate 137 EVMs across various constituencies, with the highest amount paid by Jagtap for Hadapsar. The mock poll will be conducted in the presence of candidates and engineers.
