13 BHU students held for attempt to burn Manusmriti
Lanka police detained 13 Banaras Hindu University students for attempting to burn Manusmriti and clashing with proctorial staff on December 25. The students were charged with various offenses, including assault on security personnel and promoting enmity. Two female security officers were seriously injured, leading to the students' arrest and subsequent police custody.
