13 minors rescued from garments unit in Mumbai’s Charkop

A significant child labour rescue took place in Charkop Industrial Estate, Mumbai, where thirteen boys aged thirteen to sixteen were liberated from a garment unit. Hailing from West Bengal, these minors were exploited for work. The Charkop Police conducted the raid on August eighteenth, resulting in an FIR against the unit's owner and operations head, booked under the Juvenile Justice Act.
