14-year-old drugged, raped by neighbour in Gaighata, 1 held
A 14-year-old girl in Kolkata was allegedly drugged and raped by a married neighbor after she rejected his advances. The accused, Pradip Gharami, shared a fake wedding photo of the survivor on social media. The girl attempted suicide and is currently hospitalized. Gharami was arrested and charged under the POCSO Act.
