14-year-old Odisha boy battles a wild boar in canal for around 9 minutes; both finally rescued
In a remarkable display of bravery, a 14-year-old boy faced a wild boar for an exhausting hour while trapped in a canal. When the distressed teen jumped into the water, the boar aggressively pursued him. Local residents, hearing his desperate calls, alerted firefighters who rushed to the scene, safely securing the animal and aiding the injured boy, who is now recovering in stable condition.
