15-minute halt at Karnataka's Davanagere turns into 6-hour delay for Vande Bharat
Vande Bharat Express faced significant delays during its journey towards Davanagere after scheduled works ran into complications. Initial plans called for a brief 15-minute halt but resulted in over five hours of delays. Four other trains also experienced similar disruptions due to the same issues with railway operations. South Western Railway officials indicated that the delays were exacerbated by a shadow block, hampering timely completion of ancillary works.
