16-year-old boy drowns during practice at Kolkata's Sarobar swimming pool

A sixteen-year-old swimmer drowned during a practice session at Rabindra Sarobar on Friday. The student was reportedly practising underwater breath-holding exercises when he collapsed. He was pulled from the water by trainers and rushed to a hospital. Medical experts suggest shallow water blackout as a possible cause of death. Police have registered an unnatural death case and begun an investigation.
