19-Year-Old Maoist Rebel Surrenders in Rourkela, Cites Exploitation
A 19-year-old woman rebel, Mongadi Honhaga, surrendered to Rourkela police a day after a DGP appeal. She was part of a Maoist guerrilla squad responsible for logistics on the Odisha-Jharkhand border. Honhaga cited mental and physical exploitation as reasons for her surrender, and she is eligible for rehabilitation benefits.
