1995 EWS cheating case: Maharashtra minister Manikrao Kokate divested of portfolios after arrest warrants; HC to hear his plea
Senior NCP minister Manikrao Kokate was divested of his portfolios after a Nashik court issued arrest warrants in a 1995 EWS housing quota cheating case. Convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment, Kokate's plea for relief is scheduled for hearing in the Bombay High Court on Friday.
