20k cops in schools, 80k edu institutions inspected as Poland tackles youth violence
Poland is deploying 20,000 police officers to educational institutions after three stabbings occurred within four days. Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasised the alarming rise in violence among young people. Authorities connected some violent behaviour to content glorifying violence on the internet and in video games. Reports highlighted recent attacks, including one involving a 15-year-old. The government is committed to ensuring the safety of children in schools.
