21-year-old raises over $146,000 in 24 hours for 80-year-old AMC usher after viral TikTok
A 21-year-old woman in Tennessee raised more than $146,000 in less than 24 hours for an 80-year-old AMC cinema worker after noticing her cleaning up rubbish. Brooklyn Green initially hoped to collect $500 through TikTok and GoFundMe. The elderly worker, Mary, who has worked in theatres for over 45 years, later thanked donors and requested that the fundraiser be paused.
