6 arrested in Eid Milad procession clash in Bengaluru’s Basavanagudi
Police arrested activist Punit Kerehalli and two associates for inciting communal tension. Three individuals from the procession were also detained for assaulting Kerehalli's group. The arrests followed an alleged disruption of an Eid Milad procession on KR Road. Police investigations revealed Kerehalli's group initiated the confrontation by shouting slogans. Two juveniles were apprehended and sent to a juvenile home for their involvement.
