600 detained, 250+ trains cancelled, 45 metros shut: Ahead of CJP stir, Delhi under a security blanket
Delhi Police have detained over 600 individuals in preparation for the planned protest at Jantar Mantar. Stringent traffic restrictions were enforced across various locations in the national capital beginning at 6 am. The protest aims to address allegations of voter-list manipulation and to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Authorities closed entry and exit gates at 45 metro stations in response to the protest.
