65-year-old woman tied to tree, beaten over 'black magic use' in Telangana
On September 23, a 65-year-old woman named P Venkatamma was assaulted by neighbours in Nomula village. The attackers accused her of practicing black magic and tied her to a neem tree. Her son P Mahesh reported that the group also assaulted his father, Pochaiah, during the incident. Police registered a case against 14 villagers and have begun investigations.
