A river straightened in the 1800s has been ‘re-wiggled’ after more than 100 years. Now wildlife may return
England's River Kemp, straightened over a century ago, is finally flowing naturally again after an 18-month restoration. This project, involving engineers, conservationists, and farmers, has reconnected the river to its original "Walcot Wiggle" route.
