A trapped hand, a speeding SUV and a desperate climb: How cops stopped a gutka run in Coimbatore
On Sunday morning, a police head constable in Coimbatore prevented smugglers from escaping with gutka products. The chase began after police attempted to stop an SUV carrying over 100kg of contraband. During the pursuit, the constable clung to the top of the vehicle for nearly 40km. Ultimately, a highway patrol team intercepted the SUV and arrested three smugglers. Officials commended the constable's bravery for his actions during the incident.
