After series of Jharkhand CM Hemant-WB CM Mamata Banerjee talks, 20 hours of border stalemate ends
The 20-hour blockade on the West Bengal-Jharkhand border concluded after an agreement between state officials. The blockade, which stranded thousands of trucks, was initiated by Bengal due to flooding caused by water released from Jharkhand reservoirs. Commercial vehicle movement resumed after discussions between the Chief Ministers of both states.
