AIMIM to contest only in West Bengal, backs allies in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Assam ahead of assembly polls
The AIMIM will contest only in West Bengal in alliance with the Aam Janata Unnayan Party for the upcoming assembly polls. The party is extending support to allies in Assam, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry to avoid splitting the Muslim vote, while not fielding candidates in Kerala.
