Amid opposition demand, Waqf JPC to meet on Friday and Monday
The JPC on Waqf Amendment Bill has revised its schedule and will now have meetings on Friday and Monday, as opposed to the initial Friday and Saturday plan. The opposition had sought a postponement to allow more time for preparation, arguing that immediate scheduling would hinder thorough discussions and the formulation of amendments.
