Anti-anaemia campaign in Kalyan Karnataka
Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced a two-year anaemia campaign for Kalyana Karnataka. He also promised Rs 5,000 crore annually for the region's development. A Kalyana Karnataka Economy Mission will attract investments and create new economic opportunities. A Bio Economy Mission aims to raise farmers' incomes through product processing and value addition. The government plans to plant one crore saplings across the region over two years.
