As foam builds up in Yamuna, questions raised over how work was allotted
A defoaming operation is set to begin in Yamuna near Kalindi Kunj, with equipment already in place. The Aam Aadmi Party has raised concerns about the tender allocation process favoring a specific contractor. Allegations state that the contractor set up equipment before the bids were officially opened. Delhi Jal Board representatives clarify that they have conducted defoaming campaigns annually since 2022.
