Assam assembly elections: EC appoints special observer, reshuffles 5 DEOs and 5 SPs
The Election Commission of India has intensified poll preparedness in Assam by appointing a special observer and reshuffling key officials. Five IAS officers have been appointed as district election officers and five SPs in crucial districts, with immediate effect, to monitor election readiness and conduct.
