Assam teen dies after house party: Accused claims drug overdose, family points to injuries
Aryan Goswami, the prime accused, denied killing Anwesha Saikia and claimed he tried to save her. He stated she consumed drugs at his flat and later blacked out before him. His friends, Monalisa Nath and Arpita Kakoty, also denied involvement in her death. CCTV footage showed Goswami and friends dragging Saikia to the parking area. Saikia's family rejected the account and alleged murder, demanding a forensic investigation.
