Atiq Ahmed's stronghold Kasari-Masari to be renamed, developed as Shrikrishnapuri: UP CM Yogi Adityanath
In a significant move towards urban revitalization, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared the renaming of Kasari-Masari to Shrikrishnapuri. This area was formerly known for its ties to the late gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed. The announcement coincided with the launch of a new housing initiative by the Prayagraj Development Authority, featuring a 14-storey building composed of 602 residential units, aimed at enhancing community living and erasing its notorious past.
