Bangladesh student activist Mahdi Hasan, accused in Hindu cop’s murder, quizzed during Delhi visit; returned after Europe visa refusal
Mahdi Hasan, a Bangladeshi activist facing murder charges, visited Delhi. He arrived and departed on February 17. Indian authorities questioned him briefly. He was not arrested as he was not a wanted suspect in India. Hasan had been refused a visa for Europe. He stayed at a Paharganj hotel before returning to Bangladesh.
