Bangladeshis, Rohingyas in Maharashtra's Amravati now? Panel to probe birth certificate claims
The Amravati district administration has responded to allegations by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya that over 1,000 Bangladeshi Muslims and Rohingyas received fraudulent birth certificates in Malegaon and Anjangaon Surji tehsil. A probe committee has been formed, and the police will conduct an independent investigation.
