Bengal police constable results put on hold till Sep 30 by Calcutta high court over EWS quota row

The Calcutta High Court has put a pause on the recruitment results for constables until September 30 due to petitions that dispute the selection process, especially concerning reservations for economically weaker sections. The interviews for nearly twelve thousand constable positions were completed in January and February. The court has instructed the recruitment board to announce the proceedings publicly, with the next hearing scheduled for September 11.
